The CompTIA Project+ Certification is considered to be an entry-level project management credential, which is almost in par with the PMI’s CAPM. When compared to PMP Certification there are no prerequisites, and candidates are not required to submit an application.Project+ certification is a considered to be quality certification for project managers who are yet to meet the requirements of the PMP certification. As per CompTIA.org, “Project+ certified professionals possess the technical project management skills, business acumen and interpersonal communication ability to successfully deliver IT and business projects on time and under budget.” The certification test for CompTIA Project+ consists of 100 questions which need to be answered in 90 minutes. The passing score is 710 on a scale of 100-900.Unlike PMI, once you have passed; there are no requirements for maintaining the certification.
